A big CONGRATULATIONS to Amy Frizzell on being elected by her peers to represent W. H. Rhodes Elementary School as our 2027 Teacher of the Year!!! Mrs. Frizzell's STEAM classroom is a vibrant space where education truly comes alive through hands-on lessons that reinforce and enhance classroom learning. We’re proud to have such an inspiring educator representing Rhodes Elementary School!

We are excited to congratulate Ms. Gail Jernigan, our amazing Technology Contact, as our School Related Employee of the Year. Ms. Jernigan keeps all our school technology running smoothly, responds quickly to staff needs, is a friendly face to our car riders in the morning, and is always ready to lend a helping hand. We truly appreciate her dedication to the students, faculty, and staff at Rhodes Elementary!

The Title I Parent Survey A is now open and will be available until Friday, October 6th. We ask that all families take a few minutes to complete this survey to provide us with feedback on how we're doing. You can access the survey using the link or the QR code.

We have GREAT news to share! Breakfast is now FREE for ALL Rhodes Students! Rhodes has met the USDA’s requirement—an 80% threshold for free and reduced meals—to qualify for the Universal Breakfast Program. This means breakfast is now free for all students, and no application is needed.

Lunch will remain the same as in previous years. If your student qualifies for free or reduced lunch, you must reapply for the 2025–2026 school year.
